Winter Wardrobe Essentials

Hello beautiful,

Winter is here for the humans in South Africa and I couldn’t be happier! I thought I would share some of my favourite winter wardrobe essentials, that I seem to keep wearing every winter season. Winter is my favourite season, not just because I don’t sweat as much as I do in the summer. I get to wear my favourite clothing items.

Winter isn’t as cold in Durban as it is in other parts of the country. But it still gets a bit cold where it does require you to wear a coat and boots. I’m happy.

Caramel Coat from Woolworths – R450.00

You can literally wear coats with anything. I like to pair this coat with over-the-knee-boots, black or dark blue jeans, a long sleeve top or even a polar neck sweater, a brown bag and maybe a scarf and one of those low hanging beanies.

Oversized Jersey from Factorie – R600.00

I love anything oversized, especially jersey’s. This jersey literally goes with anything really. I normally pair it with black jeans, a black top, ankle boots, and maybe a scarf, gloves and a fluffy beanie. It really depends on how cold the weather is to what I dress this up with.

A Shoulder Wrap from Cotton On – R100.00

It is literally one of my favourite items. It is really warm and so comfortable. I don’t really wear this with anything unless, it is really needed. I tend to just sit with it around my shoulders whenever I have to go outside. But it is really something to get for yourself. It also goes with anything you wear, so that’s a bonus.

Over the Knee Boots from Woolworths – R550.00

I don’t really own much boots, but these are my go-to boots for every outfit in the winter. They’re sexy, keep my skinny legs warm and I love the low block heel on them too. The only thing with these boots that I dislike is that they make my legs look short and it irritates me.

Ankle Boots from Mr Price – R260.00

These are a recent purchase, because I did not have any ankle boots in my wardrobe. They are a great addition to my wardrobe and every outfit I plan to wear this winter season. I once wore them with shorts to go the store, so please don’t do that. I looked like a girl who lived on a farm.

I hope you enjoyed this post about my essentials this winter. What are some of the essentials items that you’ll be wearing this winter? Let me know in the comments.

Stay beautiful (and warm)

Love always,
